One of the best parts about going home to Nana and Papa's is taking in all there is on farm!
Adyn found this tiny little nest out in the trees.
All the kids love going for four wheeler rides around the yard. Not sure if any more kiddos will be able to fit, we might have to start taking the kids in shifts! :-)
They have several yearling colts that they are going to be selling that they keep up by the barn, which is perfect for the kids since they love having close assess to the horses and the horses enjoy all the attention too!
Little E thought it was neat to carry around a whip. He would tell anyone who would listen that he was a cowboy. If you asked him if he liked horses he would say, "No, I like COWS! I am a cowboy!"
There are some new kittens in the barn that are pretty wild but were getting tamer every day.
Had to snap this picture of little G Man's shoes. He was wearing them like this for a good half hour before I noticed and he really didn't seem to mind at all! He was actually mad that I made him stop for a second so I could fix them!
Here is our "real" cowboy! ;-)
One of the surprises of the weekend was one of the mares named, Blue. All the other mares and colts have been turned out to the pasture several weeks ago. They kept Blue home because they didn't think she was going to foal and she is one of their riding horses. Well Saturday morning all the kids went out to pet her, since she is usually waiting by the gate for them and they found her with her new baby filly. It was quite the surprise and boy were they excited to come report the news to everyone!
