Yep, I'm a BIG girl!

Tonight was my first night in a big girl bed! Yippee! Thank you Paige for borrowing me your toddler bed. Mommy put my crib bumper around it and it felt right at home. She also covered my sheet with a satin piece of fabric that she bought awhile ago (Nothing like being smothered in satin!) Anyway, I think this big girl bed thing is going to be alright!

I'm getting a New Uncle!

Hey everyone, I'm getting a NEW uncle sometime next spring or summer. My auntie Tami Jo . . . aka Mimi got engaged today to her boyfriend, Tom. We are all SUPER excited for them!!! I can't wait to show off all my dance moves that I've been practicing with my cousin Adyn at their wedding!

Why not Minot?!?!

Mommy and I had a great time in Minot celebrating cousin's fourth birthday. When you ask him how old he his, he holds up four fingers and says, "I'm this old, I have to hide my thumb!" All he wanted for his birthday was tractors, since he has now decided he wants to be a farmer when he grows up. Papa is pretty proud of that little man! While in Minot we stayed at a nice hotel and did lots of swimming and shopping . . . and had what Cousin would say was the BEST birthday cake EVER!

Weekend at Bismarck

Mommy and Daddy are having a great time visiting old friends from college at Bismarck this weekend. Daddy and his friends also made time to do some golfing this morning. While they are catching up on old times, I have been playing with some really fun little boys (Jackson, Baby Quinn, and JB). We have spent a lot of time swimming in the pool and this afternoon we even got to visit the Dakota Zoo. I had fun seeing all the animals, but when it came to riding the train through the zoo, I wanted to sit in my OWN seat and I didn't want ANYONE to touch me. Mommy and Daddy could not understand my need for independence, so we fought it out. I lost! Another great highlight from my vacation in Bismarck is getting to help take care of Baby Quinn. I love giving him his bottle and giving him kisses. Mommy said there is still hope for me that I'm going to make a great big sister yet. I don't know what she was ever worried about, all I needed was a live baby to practice on.
