Small Notes Music Camp

The kids had a blast at Teacher Vicki's Small Notes Music Camp this week!  This was Miss E's third year and Little E's first.  It was fun to see all the new songs they learned each day and to hear about all the fun activities they did.  Thanks Teacher Vicki for another GREAT year of music and FUN!

10 Month T-shirt

Our little pumpkin is ten months old!  She definitely has a mind of her own and when she wants something it has to be NOW!  This month she has been eating (and LOVING) lots of table foods.  She also got one of her top teeth in (3 total teeth now!)  She has one more that is days away from making it's appearance too.

She is still walking around furniture, crawling at lightning speed, stands for seconds by herself (when you make her) and continually is getting into things she shouldn't!  She also has mastered waving and saying "Dada!"

Sisters = LOVE!

Saw this idea on-line and figured we better give it a try!  :-)  LOVE my sisters!!!!

FISH!

We had lots of fun fishing at Nana and Papa's!  Here is Little E with the first catch of the weekend.

LOVE this picture!  Here he is holding up the fish he caught all by himself!!!

9 Month Pictures (Some More!)

We got a couple more pictures of Baby A in Nana's flower beds. Not sure which one is my favorite yet?!?!

T-shirts

We found this fun idea on the internet and decided to try it!  Thought they would make great paint shirts for school!  :-)

We skipped the cup step and just poured the alcohol right onto the shirts.  Worked good!

It got a little smelly for the house, so we moved the art project outside!

Mini Vacation

This weekend we decided on a whim to go to Aberdeen for a mini vacation!  Sorry for the picture overload.  For anyone who has been to Aberdeen you know there are LOTS of great photo ops!  We had a BLAST!!!  Here is a picture of the kids the first night in the hotel after swimming the night away!  Love how they are sleeping in the exact same position!

Here we are the next morning swimming again.  We spent about seven hours in the pool in two days!  It was the first time we had ever been in a pool where the water was almost as warm as a bath tub.  It was GREAT!  The air was actually colder then the pool water!  No one got cold or tired of the water!

Even Baby A loved swimming!  Which is no surprise, she LOVES water!

He was amazed how big his feet looked under the water!  ;-)

Then in the afternoon we headed to Storybook Land.  They sure have added a lot since I was there as a child!  Such a neat place for kids!  They ran from one place to the next with new excitement at each new character!  Jas and I got the biggest kick out of them!

Mom, don't you have a picture somewhere of us on these same horses as kids?  :-)

Who's that handsome guy?!?!  LOL!

Jas was really getting into this Storybook Land thing! That was a pretty big jump for him!

Little E had to pick the tiger!  No surprise there!

Had to get a picture of Miss Muffet!  For those of you don't know, that was my nickname given to me by my family!  Some still call me that. . . some more then others!  ;-)

Daddy had to get a picture by the Golden Eagle! Go Davies!!!!

We finished the day with a train ride around the park.

On the way home the we made a pit stop at Jamestown to see the World's Largest Buffalo.  The last time I was there my Grandpa and Grandma M. took me as a young girl.  Lots of great memories were brought back to me!

And there is a picture of the albino buffalo, White Cloud. . . not sure if the original White Cloud is still living or not.  Just read an article not too long ago that White Cloud also had an albino calf and another one of her "normal" calves also had an albino buffalo.  So there are/were three actual albino buffaloes in this herd at one time.  . . . Just in case you wanted to know!  ;-)
