Summerfest weekend wouldn't be complete without the parade!

Fun Run

The kids had a great time at the Summerfest Fun Run!  It was a super cold morning but they didn't seem to mind!

Morning of the T.F. visit

The Tooth Fairy did arrive and we had one VERY happy girl (& boy!)  When Miss E lost her tooth, Little E was SUPER excited because he remembered one of his friends at daycare telling the story about his sister losing a tooth and the Tooth Fairy bring him something too!  Oh Boy!. . . can't wait to thank his parents next time we see them!  ;-)  We told him this only happens the first time someone loose a tooth and if that child has been taking REALLY good care of their teeth.  Daddy couldn't believe how much the price for teeth has went up!  Told him that is the going price for the first time you lose a tooth these days!  Plus it is a lot cheeper then having the dentist pull it. . . but not sure if we will come out ahead now with this whole BUNNY situation!  LOL

1st Pulled Tooth

Miss E FINALLY lost her first tooth tonight!  She already has two permanent teeth growing behind her baby teeth!  Her dentist referred her to an orthodontist because of the little space she has for her permanent teeth.  At her appointment today the orthodontist said she needs to have her bottom four teeth pulled and wants to see her back in nine months for possible spacers and future braces because of her bite. After we got in the car we told Miss E, she better start wiggling!!! (Which we have been saying for MONTHS with no success!)  Then we said, "If you pull a tooth out TODAY you can get a Mini-Lop bunny." . . . which she has been begging for several times a day, for over a year!  Well, there you go!  Her tooth was out an hour later!  Guess we will be shopping for a bunny in the very near future!

Here she is all tucked in waiting for the Tooth Fairy!

Musical

As a tradition we have gone to the Street Fair and the Musical for Grandma's birthday every year.  Here is a shot of Miss E stopping at one of the shops at the Street Fair.

Then it was time for the Musical.  The show doesn't start until 8:30 so but the kids got a quick nap in on the way into town!

We thought it was our favorite musical that they have ever put on!  ;-)  Miss E loved the princess.

Little E LOVED it!  He thought the dragon was his favorite part.

Fair

It was a super hot day but we were still able to take in the fun at the local fair.  The kids didn't mind the heat at all, but we were melting.  ;-)

Tennis

The kids had their first night of Tennis and they thought it was great!  All the kids got a racket to take home with them for the summer to practice.  Little E hasn't set his racket down.  It is his "new" favorite sport!  Thanks Coach Mike!

The Fourth

We had one of the best Fourths I can remember!  The kids are getting to the age where they are SO much fun and what better place to spend it at then at Nana and Papa's with all the cousins!  I came home with three hundred pictures from three different cameras!  Hence why it has taken me awhile to go through them!  Here are "some" of the better ones!  :-)

Now that's what you call a WATERboy!

Nana is working one of her colts.  Isn't she a beauty?!?

There was never a shortage of cuddling time!

And fun in the SUN!

The boys made time for some football.  I can see this being a regular past time as these boys grow!

The kids were begging to ride horse so Papa got a couple of them saddled up.  Here is one of there geldings, Poco.  Baby A is a horse lover!  She has been talking non-stop about "Nana's Horsies" since we came home.

Then here is Foxy.

The fourth wouldn't be complete without a fire and some marshmallows!

And of course some fireworks.

We also spend time fishing, practicing on the slack line, eating WAY to much, four-wheeling, swimming, running in a 5K, taking in the local fireworks, and on and on, . . . like I said, it was a GREAT fourth!!!!
