Quick Storm

A couple of minutes ago, the wind picked up and then it really picked up. . . this is the end result about 15 minutes later.


Some of the playset hit the deck.



The rest of it, hit the house!

It is now calm and all is good again! Now onto repairing the swing set. . . we'll wait until Daddy gets home to do that!

Lilacs

I had lots of help planting 8 new lilacs on the edge of our property! Can't wait until they grow and start flowering!

Back to School Night

Tonight was my Preschool Back to School Night where I got to see my new classroom and meet my teacher. I was pretty shy but just as I was starting to warm up, Mommy had to hurry back to her classroom because all her new students were coming to her room too.

I can't wait to start preschool on September 2nd! Check back then for my first day of school pictures! :-)

My teacher Julienne gave us a name tag so we could practice at home writing our name. I found mine right way, but was too shy to grab it!


She also let us take home a little teddy bear! I grabbed a purple one!



My teacher is really nice! I can't wait for an exciting year of preschool!

Daycare

Well it is that time again . . . . Time for DAYCARE!!! Oh how excited we were to see Dawn aka Dawnie this morning!!! We sure LOVE Dawnie (and all of our friends) and were so happy to finally get to go back to daycare! Mommy thought it would be fun to have a trip down memory lane and post the last four years of our first day at daycare pictures! Wow, look how much we have grown up!

Gymnastics

Boy, Mommy has been slacking on the blogging lately! She sends her apologies! Here is a post from a couple weeks ago. I just finished my summer session of gymnastics. I was slowly starting to warm up over the 8 sessions and was doing a pretty good job. However on the last day, it was parent's day and that really threw me for a loop! I did not like having all those extra people in the gym with me! I kind of clammed up . . . as you can tell by me having to sit on the teachers lap, instead of on the carpet square that I am suppose to sit on and by me not smiling in any of the pictures! The teachers assured Mommy and Daddy that I am not usually like this when they aren't around, but I don't know if they believed them! Oh well, Mommy still signed me up for another session this fall anyway and she even got brother in a class too!

Another Artist!

Yesterday as big sister was practicing her drawing and writing at the table our little "Monster" aka Brother, stole a marker and ran into his sister's room! This is what we found in a matter of seconds after realizing he was no longer in the kitchen! . . . honestly SECONDS!!!

Thankfully it was a washable marker and it all came off pretty easy. He did have it all over his face too, but daddy got him all cleaned up before I could take a picture! :-)
