Splash'n good times!

Cousin and Brother had a splash'n good time at Nana and Papa's house! Here are some pictures from bath time!

Then posing with our cool hair styles after our bath!

Then it is time for some more wrestling again!

My Friend's Birthday

I had lots of fun on Friday at my friend's birthday party! I got to see all my friends from daycare that I hadn't seen in a long time! It was great! Thanks for inviting me and I hope you had a great day!

We finger painted with pudding! Except I only wanted to watch everyone else do it! Maybe it is because my mommy always tells me to use my spoon and not to eat with my fingers when I am eating apple sauce, pudding, and other messy things!

Here is a picture of a roller coaster that she had at her party. You put this little car on it and it rolls down. Here we are trying it without the car, but we are seeing if we can get it slippery with water!

Summer hat

We enjoyed a fun afternoon out on the deck and in the pool. Here is a picture of Brother in his sun hat! I wasn't cooperating. . . so that is why you only get to see Brother today.

Standing

Brother does not like to be on the ground anymore! We leave him for a second and he has pulled himself up on something. Example: Play tables, couches, chairs, the crib, your leg. . . yes he is a standing machine! He has also been taking some steps around things! Pretty exciting! As you can tell by this picture, he thinks he is pretty big stuff with his new found abilities! :-)

Kenny!

We had a great time last night at the Kenny Chesney concert. Kenny came out "soaring" over the crowd! He gave a great show!

Our seats were on the floor and about half way back. Not too bad. . . plus they had huge screens projecting the concert. Pretty cool!
Hanging out before the concert!

Videos

I have been able to say my ABC's for quite some time, but tonight Mommy finally got it on tape. :-) Yes, I have my leotard on. . . I live in it now days!

I have also been practicing singing lots of songs. I love singing . . .doesn't matter what the song is from, "The Wheels on the Bus" to "We Will Rock You!" Here is a clip of one of the newer songs I just learned, "Jesus Loves Me".

More pics!

Brother has been hands and knees crawling for a couple weeks now, which means he is into everything. He has also pulled himself up on to furniture, waved good-bye, and Mommy's favorite. . . pats Mommy's back when she pats his! It is so fun to see how each day he is learning something new. . . he sure keeps us busy!

Grandma has been letting me water all her plants whenever I come over to visit. So now, anytime Mommy waters HER plants, I think I need to help too! Mommy isn't as trusting as Grandma and only lets me water her tomato plants outside!

Gymnastics

Daddy and Mommy started taking me to gymnastics last week (Mommy has fallen behind on her blogging!) and I wasn't so sure what to think. All these kids running around and bouncing off things. . . a little too stimulating if you ask me.

The first day, I wanted Mommy and Daddy to hold my hand everywhere I went and when the teachers or other kids talked to me, I pretended like I didn't hear them and would look in the opposite direction! The teachers also tried to make me do "stunts" and then would give out stamps on my hands and feet. Mommy and Daddy also had to force me to do this, to get some stamps like the other kids!

Well, today was week two and I guess this place isn't so bad after all. By the end of the day I had lots of stamps too, didn't want Mommy to help me do ANYTHING. and I didn't want to go home! Can't wait for next week!

Resistance Training

Brother loves his walker and has really put on the miles these last couple months. Well, today I thought I would really start training him with some resistance! Brother didn't even seem to mind and I had a blast getting a ride around the house!

7 Years

Today Mommy and Daddy have been married for seven years! Mommy said time sure has flown by and she can't believe she is sitting here seven years later with two beautiful children and the most caring, loving husband possible! She thinks that the new song by Brad Paisley, "And I Thought I Loved You Then!" sums it up pretty good!

Life is good!
