Book Club

Miss E and Auntie C had their first official book club over Thanksgiving break.  They are reading "The Chronicles of Narnia."  E is done with the first two books and is loving them.  It was fun to see the in-depth conversations they were having about the books.

Tree is Up!

We got the tree up this weekend and had a visit from our Elf on the Shelf.  He brought us our Christmas Jammies too!  Let the holiday season begin!

Pumpkin Pies

Love that I have new pie makers in the family.  They mixed, rolled, and baked the whole thing from start to finish!

Sweet Soup

Grandma made her famous Sweet Soup and she was hoping she could get one of her grandchildren to like it.  Here's A as she tried it for the first time!  LOL

Bison Basketball gam

We all went to the men's basketball game the other night.  We don't always take A as she is still pretty little and the game are often late, but we made a family night out of it.  She was so excited to see Thunder that we had to go track him down to get a pic.

more CYBA

Miss E is LOVING CYBA!  She had one of her best games this weekend too!  It's so much fun to see all the girls improve each and every time they play!

Look what I can do!

Another kid at daycare learned how to tie recently, so Miss A came home and asked me to teach her.  Five minutes later she had it down!

Veteran's Day Program

Today the 1st graders had their Veteran's Day program at school.  Each student was encouraged to invite a military member or vet.  Little E invited Grandpa and Papa (Papa wasn't able to make it, but was still honored with a star!)

Passing out programs.

A quick picture with Grandpa before the program.

The kids sang the "Star Spangled Banner" and "Oh, I Love America"

The each student who invited their vet introduced them as they stood in the crowd.  Too sweet!

Easton also was selected to read his story he wrote.  I got it on video but the sound wasn't very good.   Here is a copy of what he read/wrote.

Thanks Grandpa for making it today and your service to our country (Papa too!)
