Alumni Basketball Game

While we were home over the break we played in an alumni basketball game!  I had a lot of fun seeing old friends and getting to play back in the gym I had so many fond memories of!  It was an added treat getting to play with my sis, who I never actually got to play in a real game with other then open gyms.

Here we are after the game!  We survived!  Heidi was actually the high score of the game (imagine that!)  She's still got it, unlike the rest of us. . . our game has long been lost!

Dad's banner is still on the wall in the same spot it was when I was in high school.  Chris got a close up of it, I'll have to try to get it off my camera phone. . . but you can kind of see it in this picture!  :-)

Christmas

We spent five days at Nana and Papa's and had a BLAST!  We haven't been able to spend that much time there in a while and it was really nice being home!

The kids never got tired of Uncle Tom giving horsie rides!  However, I think Tom did!  ;-)

This picture shows my favorite holiday memory this year!  Millicent opened her first gift from Nana and Papa (horsie jammies) and before she even knew what it was she started hugging them and jumping up and down while saying "I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!"  It was the cutest thing I think I have ever seen!

We even got in G's Lego fourth birthday party!  Happy birthday buddy!  We LOVE you!  XOXO

Santa gifts

The kids must have been good this year because Santa brought them the loot!  Miss E wanted a violin, a notebook, and sparkles (stuff to make jewelry!)

Little E decided two days before Christmas that he could not live without a koala bear!  Good thing Santa has his magic elves!

He also requested earlier in the year a pirate ship!

Baby A got a little of this and a little of that.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at church and then out at our auntie and uncle's house.  It was a wonderful time; with great company and great food!  Auntie Christine "tried" to play a couple Christmas songs on the piano but didn't get very far with all the helping hands!

Little G is such a charmer!

Grandpa's boys!

Auntie Christine made all the kids pillow loungers.  E and E have been using them as a pillow tops for their beds ever since she gave them to them!  ;-)

Once Little G opened his truck, he forgot all about everything else going on!  It was a hit!

Daycare Christmas Program

On Wednesday the kid's daycare had a little Christmas Program for us.  It was adorable!!!  But, even cuter were the kids dressed up in all their costumes!  Too cute!

There were three baby Santa's, but of course none of them stayed still long enough to get in one picture!

Here are a couple quick videos of some of the songs they did.

After the program it was time for cookies and apple cider.  As all the kids were eating there was a knock on the door!  SANTA!!! The kids were pretty excited, except for Baby A!  She didn't want anything to do with him, until he gave her a present, then he wasn't so bad!
