Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a GREAT weekend home at Nana and Papa's! We decorated pretzels dipped in almond bark "twice" (since they were eaten up so fast the first time!)

Ate another yummy Thanksgiving Feast!

Built a snowfort. Yes, that is Daddy way inside that fort!

Had lot of fun with our cousins!
Daddy even got out for a little hunting.

And we spent lots of time cuddling!!! WE sure miss Nana and Papa and wish we lived closer!!!

Mommy spent some of the weekend trying to catch up on sleep, since she pulled an all nighter Black Friday shopping! She isn't as young as she used to be, since she really felt the pain of missing a nights sleep all weekend long. It was worth it though, she got lots of good deals!!!

This last picture, I just had to share. Nana made this and hung it outside her house, isn't it cute!!! She just used a branch off of her old artificial Christmas tree and added a bow and some old skates. We told her she needs to make one for us now! ;-)

Happy Thanksgiving!

"Over the river and through the woods, to Auntie Eileen's we go!" . . . yup, that is the song we sang this morning as we headed to VC to have Thanksgiving dinner!

Little E was in heaven playing with all the animals Great Auntie Eileen and Great Uncle Rich had! (Until it was time to go and he had to leave them all there!!!) :-)

Boy, getting four kids to all look at the camera is a difficult job!

Especially when one little boy will NEVER look at the camera and if he does, he doesn't smile! Little stinker!

We had a wonderful day; surrounded by the people we love and delicious food! Thanks Auntie Eileen and Uncle Rich for having us over today!

Pilgrims

Mommy had some extra turkeys and hats left over from the Thanksgiving Feast they had today in Kindergarten, so she brought them home for us. Don't we make some pretty cute pilgrims?!?! We had lots of fun carving our turkeys to find popcorn, animal crackers, goldfish crackers, and other treats.

Look how surprised I am when I notice there is some candy hiding inside my turkey!

We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!!! Drive safe and stay warm! XOXO

She died!. . . OK, not really!

After picking Miss E up from preschool, I brought her to daycare for the remainder of the day. When it came time to pick her up, Dawn her daycare lady asked me if everything was OK with Miss E's preschool teacher. I said, "Yeah, I think so. Why?" Dawn went on to say that she asked Miss E how her day was today and she said, "Great!" When she asked who she all played with, she replied so matter of factly, while shrugging her shoulders, "Not my teacher. She died!"

Well, since I work at the school, I knew this wasn't true! Her teacher was just home sick. Miss E told the same story to daddy when he asked her how her day was. We think she might be watching too much of our new DVD, "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly." Since after the Old Lady swallows the horse, she dies "of course!"

I talked with her preschool teacher to tell her the story. She had a good laugh! I told her she can't be gone anymore, since the kids (mine in particular) thinks she has died, when she isn't there! ;-)

Tree Time

We know it is early, but with the first snow fall this weekend we got excited to put our tree up! It was so fun watching the kids really get into decorating. Their favorite part was putting the angel on top of the tree!

Even though big sis already put an angel on the tree, brother ran and found another one and wanted to put his on too. Daddy held him up to pretend, which was good enough for him!

Boy, Mommy has been slow with the blogging lately. There hasn't been anything really too interesting to blog about, in her defense! She did capture this picture last week of Daddy reading us some stories. This is our favorite night time routine. We could listen to Mommy and Daddy read for hours! Just one more we always say!

Side Job

OK, I guess three blogs aren't enough, so I started my fourth!

Check it out:

Good new for me, I finally replaced the camera lens I broke this summer! I ended up ordering a different one than the one I broke and was excited to put it to use. I will hopefully someday replace the one I broke, but that might be a while. :-)
