Tuckered out!

We went for a walk the other day and poor brother couldn't make it without falling asleep. When Mommy first saw him, his head was laying on the tray. She tried to make him lay back, but he kept falling forward. At least she found a blanket for him to rest on!

Daycare!

We were excited to get back to Dawn's house this morning, since Mommy and Daddy had to go back to work! We had lot of fun today and when Daddy asked me when I got home if Dawn had to yell at me, "I said, NO Daddy, I'm a good girl!"

World Record Parade!

Today at Summerfest they broke the world record for having the most fire trucks in a parade! Pretty cool!. . . and LOUD! We didn't make it for the whole parade since it started raining! But before the fire truck parade they had a kiddie parade and a regular parade, which were a lot of fun and boy did we get the loot! They even gave away tennis balls, beach balls, peanuts, Girl Scout Cookies, and lots of other fun stuff!

Not the cupboards!

Brother for the first time today discovered how to get the cupboards open. He had lots of fun opening and closing them. We would move him away from them and as fast as he could he would crawl right back. Then after he mastered the opening and closing of them, he discovered that he could also take things out of the cupboards! He sure had fun, however Mommy didn't think it was so fun cleaning up after him!

August Fun!

The last couple days have been very HOT, but we have been staying cool with the sprinkler that hooks onto our pool. We decided it was more fun putting it out on the lawn so we could run through it!


Or should we say, trying to carry it around to spray people!

We have also been taking advantage of our new outdoor pool. . . that we LOVE! It was cute, the last time we were there this little boy really thought it was fun to pull Brother around in his hippo. Brother thought it was pretty fun too!

Daddy is getting excited that his two tomato plants have started to really take off. He has planted them in pots before, but hasn't had much luck. Must have been a good summer for growing tomatoes.

Setting: Driving in the car, 93 degrees outside, Brother screaming in the back seat!

Mommy: "Are you being nice to Easton?"
Sister: "NO!"

Gymnastics

Yesterday was my last day of summer gymnastics! I even got a ribbon and everything! As soon as they called my name I was up and running. . . jumped on the platform and was ready to get my ribbon! Mommy was surprised that I didn't need her to hold my hand or help me up there, but I guess it is a sign I am a big girl now! She was VERY proud of me since the first time she brought me to gymnastics I wouldn't leave her side and didn't do any of the activities!

I have had a great time at gymnastics and have been learning a lot. I am no longer scared of the coaches and love getting stamps on my hands and feet when I do what they ask! As soon as I wake up in the morning I ask Mommy and Daddy if I can go to gymnastics and get SO excited when it is Wednesdays! Hopefully Mommy and Daddy will find time this fall to take me again!

ELMO!

We were able to go to "Elmo goes Green!" this weekend with all my friends from daycare! We had an awesome time and we weren't even scared of the characters!

Thanks Erin for getting us all tickets! It was a great idea and lots of fun!!!

Zoo

Wow, Mommy has fallen behind in getting her pictures uploaded! It has almost been two weeks now since we went to the zoo! We had a great time looking at all the animals. Our favorite was the baby ducklings! Yes, we had to go all the way to the zoo to see them but, it was worth it!!! ;-)

Mommy: "You need to eat at the table, you are getting the couch all messy!"
Sister: "Mommy, you are driving me NUTS!"

Daddy swears that is something Mommy would say. . . Mommy blames daddy!?!?!
