Sidewalk Chalk Paint

Today Mommy started staining our swing set! Since she was painting she thought it would be a good idea if we could paint too, to keep us busy! So, she mixed us up some sidewalk chalk paint (thanks for the idea Nikki!). We had fun getting to paint and we had more luck then Mommy did, that's for sure! . . . too windy to stain a playset!!!

For those of you who want to make some sidewalk chalk paint of your own, it is super easy. Just take equal parts cornstarch to water and then add food coloring.

Mommy didn't get any pictures of our finished artwork, because she was too busy cleaning up stain that was getting blown by the wind all over our play stuff and she didn't want to touch her camera with her hands full of stain!

What a mess! At least the sidewalk chalk paint washes off with just water! But, our finished artwork did look really nice. Daddy even got into the painting! ;-)
