Pumpkin Carving!

Today we finally got around to carving our pumpkins we got from the pumpkin patch!

Getting all that slimy stuff out is tough work!

Daddy helped get our Jack-o-Lanterns just right!

Yep, they turned out pretty good!

And. . . they taste pretty good too!

Weekend fun!

Daddy left yesterday for the Vikings football game. We miss him, but we have kept very busy reading books, coloring pictures, playing with play dough, watching movies, playing in our tent. Here are a couple pictures from our fun weekend at home!

One Year Check-up

Our tough little boy ended up getting 5 shots today! He handled it better then his sister, who got the nasal mist flu vaccination and cried more then he did!

We found out that he weighs 19 lbs. 15 oz. ~ 15%, was 30 3/4 inches tall ~ 80%, and his head was 46 cm. ~ 40%.

Party #3

Wow, this is a lot of partying for a little guy! Good thing I like parties. . . not to mention cupcakes!

Yep, these are good cupcakes!

REALLY good and messy cupcakes! :-)

On to the presents!

My sister and cousin were really good helpers!

How cute is that?!?!

Hey! Wait a second. . . I didn't say she could play with MY toys!

We love the books!

And the plastic cover to the LEGOS. . . they will provide us with hours of entertainment!

This partying stuff is hard work! Doesn't she look cute in my old PJ's?
Thank you EVERYONE for coming to my parties and for all the gifts! I have the best family and friends a one year old could ask for! Hugs and Kisses to you all!

Party at Daycare #2

I had another birthday party at daycare today! Yum, more cupcakes!

And more presents!

All my "monster" friends were there to join in on the fun! (Sorry we are missing a couple of you in the picture! Getting you all to stand in one spot is asking a lot!)

And the scariest monster of them all!

Good Morning Birthday Boy!

Mommy was not very nice this morning! First she came in signing "Happy Birthday" while I was still trying to sleep. Then she turned the lights on and started taking pictures of me . . . which I again did not think was very nice! Oh yeah, take a good look at my crib. . . see all those scratches. . . that is from my teeth! Nice huh!

OK, that is enough Mom. . . pick me up and stop taking pictures!!!

Still a sleepy head! Can you tell Mommy is more excited about this birthday thing then me?!?!

Birthday Party # 1

OK, I got a lot of grief today because I did not update the blog as soon as party number one was done!. . . So here it is!

The party favors, filled with candy and jumping monsters!

The cake that Mommy made.

Yep, there were LOTS of little monsters lurking around!

And some big monsters too!

The birthday boy with is monster cupcake!

He wouldn't leave on his monster hat! But, I did manage to get one quick shot of him! Look at that messy boy!

On to the presents before nap time!. . . by far his favorite part!

And another little monster's favorite part too! :-)

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch and boy oh boy was I excited to ride the ponies! Mommy saw on the pumpkin patch's website that they were giving free pony rides today and when she told me, that was all I could talk about all morning. I was SO excited!

I was a little scared when I actually got on the pony, but Mommy stayed right by me. When the ride was over, I didn't want to get off!

Brother didn't get a pony ride, but he had fun watching big sister!

After the pony ride I got to ride a bull! Well, it wasn't a real bull, but it was still pretty fun getting pulled around the pumpkin patch by a lawn mower.

Look how tall we are this fall!

I love my brother!. . . well most of the time! ;-)

Here we are on the horse drawn wagon headed to the pumpkin patch, where we get to pick out our own pumpkin to take home! Yippee!

Brother likes this one!

I love PUMPKINS! What a fun day we had!

Bittersweet

Brother is no longer taking the bottle, well actually he probably would still take it, but we won't let him! This brings up some very mixed feelings for Mommy! How could he have grown up so fast? Just knowing that he is not a little baby anymore makes her very SAD! However, on the flip side no more warming up bottles and mixing formula, washing and drying bottles, buying formula and bottle liners. . . all makes Mommy very HAPPY!

Building blocks. . .cans!

Mommy left the cupboard door open for just a second and before she turned around, Brother discovered the open cupboard and had build himself a tower, three cans/jars high! She ran to get the camera and when she got back, he was working on getting number four on the tower! Mommy was pretty impressed, since she had never even seen him build a tower with blocks before!

Here's number four!

Steady now.. . .

Yep, looks pretty good!

We think he could have gone higher, but his sister discovered what he was doing and came running over to knocked them all down!
