Today the 1st graders had their Veteran's Day program at school. Each student was encouraged to invite a military member or vet. Little E invited Grandpa and Papa (Papa wasn't able to make it, but was still honored with a star!)

The kids sang the "Star Spangled Banner" and "Oh, I Love America"
The each student who invited their vet introduced them as they stood in the crowd. Too sweet!
Easton also was selected to read his story he wrote. I got it on video but the sound wasn't very good. Here is a copy of what he read/wrote.
Thanks Grandpa for making it today and your service to our country (Papa too!)
