We had a super-duper walk weekend!!! As wonderful as it is, it is also such an overwhelming weekend; seeing all those donations coming in, all those thoughts and prayers for our two VERY BRAVE kids, being surrounded by ALL those children and people affected by this disease, thinking thoughts that we still can't believe this is our "new" life, and on and on. Everything happens for a reason and with this disease there is one thing that is certain (as much as we wish our sweet kids didn't have it) we are closer and stronger because of it!! . . . but that being said we are all of those things thanks to all of our friends, family, nurses, and doctors who love and support us through all our ups and downs. Without you all, we wouldn't be where we are today! THANK YOU!!!
On to the walk pictures. . . Sorry for the overload of pictures!!
We started it off with some fun at the water park.
Some bedtime stories with Auntie Christine.
Then up early for the walk. Made it just in time with bad roads.
Our two VERY BRAVE kids!
It was this little ones first walk. She had a great time and definitely made our family feel complete!
Best Friends FOREVER!
A little dancing during the walk. ;-)
The announcer asked, "Who wants a cure?"
Love this picture!! . . .bummed I didn't have it centered. :-(
The grand total of what all the teams raised for the walk. Awesome!!
After the walk the kids took in some rides at the mall, while this little one crashed.
Not only did we have tons of support at the walk we had even more cheering us on from home!
Check out some that sent us pictures:
Thank you everyone for your love and support. . . it means the world to us!!!
