How CUTE!

On the way to my shower at Mommy's school, Mommy took this picture of me all bundled up in my car seat! Aren't I the cutest thing you have ever seen? ;-)

Baby Shower

Today Mommy's students threw a baby shower for me at the school. They made me a really neat blanket that they signed their names all over and drew pictures on! I had lots of fun seeing all of them and getting passed around by all the moms that came. Mommy was happy that all of her students were doing so good and was super excited to get hugs from all of them, because she misses them SO much!

2nd Annual Lefse Day

Grandma Holland invited everyone over to make lefse this weekend. Brother slept through all the fun, but not me! I had lots of fun playing with Auntie Christine and Auntie Amanda while Mommy and Grandma made a big mess making lefse. The lefse turned out yummy, even if Grandma thought we didn't roll it thin enough! Thanks for creating this fun tradition Grandma and for starting me out so young on all of these Norwegian traditions!

6 Hours!

Another new milestone for me! I slept from 11:00 to 5:00 this morning! Can you believe it, 6 hours!!!

It must have been all that fun I had at my shower last night that got me so tired out! Mommy's friends from work threw me a shower at the Olive Garden. Boy did I get the loot! I got lots of clothes, a pair of shoes, some books, blankets, and a neat wood block that has my name and birthday on it! Mommy's friends are the BEST!!! Thank you Mommy's Friends!!!

1 Month

My Great Grandpa was a true cowboy. You never saw him without his cowboy hat on and boy did he look sharp! We miss Great Grandpa very much but know he is looking down on us with a big smile. Mommy knew when she named me after him that I would have a lot to live up to, because he was such a great man. I will do my best to live up to his name!

This weekend Auntie Heidi took my one month pictures with one of Nana's saddles and Great Grandpa's hat. Just like Great Grandpa, I think I was born to ride.

Snow Much Fun!

While we were at Papa and Nana's we got to enjoy all the snow (over 10 inches) that they got. Papa piled a bunch of it up in a huge pile for us to climb on, slide down on, and to build a snow fort on! We had a GREAT time playing outside in all the snow! Thanks Papa!

Deer Hunting

We all went to Rugby this weekend so Daddy, Papa, Uncle Chris, and Uncle Tom could look for that thirty point buck! Well, they didn't find him, but they sure had a great time trying and got the thirty point buck's distant cousins instead. Here are some pictures:

Yippee!

I slept five hours in a row last night! That is the longest I (and mommy and daddy) have slept since I've been born!

Other exciting news, last night I rolled over for the first time. Mommy couldn't believe her eyes so she put me back on my tummy and I did it again! She wanted me to do it again, but two times was enough, I was pretty tired after that. . . as you can tell by how I slept for 5 hours straight last night!

Well, I'll post more later to keep you updated on all my important milestones, right now I'm ready for a nap!

Cute as a BUG!

Daddy and Mommy took Brother. . . aka, Bumblebee and Me. . . aka, ladybug out trick or treating tonight! We had lots of fun. However I preferred being at home and getting to pass out treats to all the trick or treaters! Every time the door bell rang I screamed, jumped up and down, and raced to get the bucket!!!

Visiting Great Grandma

Today Mommy, Auntie Christine, and Grandma took Brother and I to visit Great Grandma. We had lots of fun playing in Great Grandma's new apartment. Brother pretty much slept the whole time we were there, but not me . . . I was too busy entertaining everyone!

Visiting Kindergarten

Mommy took me to school today to show me off to all of her students. All the kids thought I was super cute and couldn't believe how much hair I had! Mommy missed all of them and couldn't believe how much they had grown in two short weeks! I know mommy loves to be home with me all day, but I think she misses teaching too! She was just glad everyone was doing good and staying out of trouble while she has been gone!

One Week!

Well, it's hard to believe that one week has already flown by! Little Brother has been a great addition to our family and Sister seems to be adjusting well to being the big sister!

We have had a busy week with lots of company, lots of diaper changing, lots of laundry, lots of cat-naps, and lots of hugs and kisses! We are so excited to show him off to everyone, so please keep the visits coming! We are always home and you can stop by whenever!

It's a BOY!!!

Well, my new baby brother is finally here! He weighed in at 7lbs. 10oz and was 21 inches long. I'm not too sure what to think of him just yet, but I did share my blanket with him (just for a second). Mommy said I'm going to be the best big sister ever! I think she is right! I can't wait to teach him all sorts of cool stuff! Here are some pictures of my handsome little brother!

No Baby Yet!

Hey everyone! I know you are all wondering but, NO we haven't had a baby yet! Even though today is my due date. . . it looks like it is going to come and go without a baby! Which at first I was pretty bummed, but now I'm looking at it as a blessing since everyone has come down with bad colds and coughs over the weekend and Sister also looks as if she might have pink eye! I have been staying busy disinfecting everything they touch and timing all my "false labor" contractions. At night they get as close as 5 minutes apart, but then during the day they come and go when they want!

Well, hopefully their colds/pink eye comes and goes and this baby comes sooner then later! I can't wait to meet him or her. . .but I would sure like my family to be healthy enough to meet him/her with me! :-)

Black Eye

I got a black eye at daycare last Thursday when I was trying to take a toy away from another little boy (who is my age but much bigger!). He didn't think that was a good plan and thought I should have maybe asked nicely, instead of just grabbing it from him! Well, long story short as I was trying to take the toy (and he was trying to prevent me), he fell on me and his head landed on my eye! I only cried a few tears and in return he felt bad for me and gave me the toy. So I guess my plan worked after all! Well today. . . four days after the fact, Mommy finally got around to taking a picture of my black eye!

I'm one tough cookie. . . however Mommy and Daddy said I need to work on something they call "Sharing" . . . whatever that is. . . I think maybe I'll just start picking on kids my own size!
