Swimming Lessons

It's that time of year again. . . to get ready for summer swimming with some swimming lessons.

This year Baby A got in on the fun, with the parent-tot class.  As you can tell she loved it!

Little E has really improved since they last time they took lessons.  It was neat seeing him more confident and willing to try new things!

Miss E was moved into the harder level, which she was really unsure about.  But, by the end of the lesson she was well adjusted and did a good job too!

Lunch Date

Since Daddy was on spring break this week he took advantage of having a lunch date with one of his favorite sweeties.  She was pretty surprised when he showed up at the school.

Big Sister the Helper

The other day right before supper Miss E checked Little E's blood sugar for him.  She did the whole thing from start to finish ALL by herself.  Little E enjoyed the break and it felt good training in another member of our family to know what to do in case of an emergency.  We were really proud of her!  Couldn't believe our eyes that she knew how to do it all by herself. . .she must pay closer attention to what is happening than we thought!  ;-)

Birthday Girl

The birthday girl wanted to bring orange sherbet to school for her birthday snack.  It was fun getting stop down while they kids were eating and seeing them all sing "Happy Birthday" to her!

7th Birthday American Girl Doll Party

This little one is rarely seen without her American Girl Doll, so it was no surprise she wanted an American Girl Doll Party!!

Nana and I got to work designing outfits!  :-)  Nana made the boots, purses, and skirts.  I made the shirts, scarves, and barrettes.

Can't believe she is going to be seven!

All the guests have arrived and quickly went to get changed.

While we were getting lunch ready, the girls watch some of the American Doll movie, Kit.

Time to eat!

Then some American Girl Doll BINGO.

After BINGO they made friendship bracelets for their dollies.

Time for cupcakes!

Then presents!  To decide which present she was going to open first, she stood in the middle of the circle and spun around with her eyes closed.  Then whichever American Girl Doll she grabbed, was the present she would open.   (This was all her idea!)  ;-)

LOL. . . she certainly is our all-American Girl!  Love you to pieces Miss E.  Hope your day was great, because I know ours sure was!
