Quick Trip

The weekend school got out we had a graduation to attend several hours away so we made the most of it by making it into a mini vacation.  We made it to the State Track Meet to watch some amazing races. Hit a couple area parks (which were a big hit by the kids!)

 Swim, swim, and SWIM. . . I didn't get a clear picture of Little E, which is probably because he spend 99.9 percent of the time swimming under the water with his new goggles!

Went to the zoo, which was a perfect night. . . not too hot or to cold!

Then we headed out to the river the next morning.  

We also took in a movie at the theater and then finally visited the mall where they had a cool bungee tramp.  The kids had a blast on it!

Since Baby A couldn't bungee, we found another ride for her to go on.

It was a GREAT weekend!  But, I forgot to get a picture at the graduation!  :-(

Last day of Daycare for 2014

E and A had their last day of daycare today.  It was an especially emotional day for us knowing this is E's last day ever of daycare with this special lady, since he is going to kindergarten this fall.  She has taught him so, so, so, SO much. . . we are forever grateful to her!

Last Day of 1st Grade

Miss E had her final day of 1st Grade today.  These years are sure flying by!

Nana's Retirement Party

Nana had her retirement banquet tonight and thankfully we were able to make it.  It was really neat seeing all my former teachers, ones who have shaped my life and made me the person I am.  I'm forever grateful to the love, patience, and guidance they gave me throughout my years at RHS! . . . including mom the best teacher I know!!! 

The night was Superhero themed!  Nana was Wonder Women! . . . for obvious reasons!  ;-)

It was a great night and we couldn't be prouder of our mom!  She deserves her retirement and we wish her all the best!  XOXO

Big Boy

It's really hitting us that our little boy is growing up!  Yesterday he had his 3 month diabetes check-up and it was also time for his Kindergarten Shots!  He chose to sit with dad, which was a first. . . it pulled at my heart strings a bit, but it all worked out since then I could take pictures!  ;-)  

 

Here he is seconds after his shots.  All SMILES!!!  He is the toughest, bravest kid I know!!!

Spring Program

This little sweetie just had her 1st grade spring music program.  She did great (as did ALL the kids!)  It was fun to see her coming out of her shell this year, to make so many new friends, and learn so many amazing things!!!  Can't believe this school year is coming to a close!

Momma Mia!

We had a great night at Momma Mia!  The musical was fantastic and the company was even better!  SO blessed to have the most amazing mom and sisters a girl could ask for!  XOXO

Interesting Bird

We have had this unique bird hopping around our yard for the last couple weeks.  We think it is a robin that has some albino qualities.  It also doesn't have any tail feathers, which is odd seeing it fly.  We have really enjoyed looking for it each day!
